Red Bull team principal Christian Horner spoke to Sky Sport's post-race. He said: "Strategically we got all our tools right today, staying out at the first VSC was crucial, particularly for Checo's race, and we just had great pace and of course, there was a bit of risk in that last bit...but he's been on form all weekend so we thought it was worth the risk."
With it being the first race without Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz following his death, he added: "He was our leader, founder, he created all of this and he was Red Bull, and despite him not being here and his presence, you feel him here and I think hopefully watching down he would have enjoyed that one."
On the topic of track limits, Horner said: "I think the track limits thing needs to be looked at as it makes us look a bit like amateurish, with so many drivers breaking those limits, it's just too easy and it's something that needs to be looked at for next year, either the curbs or a bit of gravel on the other side of the curb, just tidy that up."
